มาตรา ให้มีคณะกรรมการคณะหนึ่งเรียกว่า “คณะกรรมการพันธุ์พืช” ประกอบด้วยปลัดกระทรวงเกษตรและสหกรณ์เป็นประธานกรรมการ อธิบดีกรมวิชาการเกษตร อธิบดีกรมส่งเสริมการเกษตร ผู้แทนกรมป่าไม้ ผู้แทนกรมศุลกากร และผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิซึ่งรัฐมนตรีแต่งตั้งอีกไม่เกินเก้าคนเป็นกรรมการ และผู้อำนวยการกองควบคุมพืชและวัสดุการเกษตรเป็นกรรมการและเลขานุการ

Section 6. There shall be a committee called the "Plant Variety Committee" consisting of the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Agriculture and Co-operatives as Chairman, the Director-General of the Department of Agriculture, the Director-General of the Department of Agricultural Extension, a representative of the Royal Forest Department, a representative of the Customs Department and not more than nine qualified persons appointed by the Minister as members, and the Director of the Agricultural Regulatory Division as member and secretary.
